01 · Before you fly

Visa and entry planning

Use the official Indian visa portal

Most international visitors need a valid visa, but eligibility and the correct visa category depend on nationality and travel purpose. Review the current instructions before applying.

Open the official Government of India e-Visa portal

Avoid third-party websites offering expedited or guaranteed visa approval.

Request an invitation letter

Registered attendees and selected speakers can request a conference invitation or support letter. Email your full name as it appears on your passport, nationality, and registration reference. The team will confirm any additional information needed.

02 · Getting here

Arriving in New Delhi

Fly to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL)

Delhi is the arrival airport for the event. The conference venue is Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport, close to the airport district.

View official Terminal 3 information

Getting to the hotel

Use a ride-hailing app or an authorized prepaid taxi counter inside the terminal. Follow the signed pickup instructions and avoid unsolicited offers in the arrivals hall.

Group transfers

Transfer arrangements, when available, will be shared directly with registered international guests. Do not assume a pickup is confirmed until you receive written details from the event team.

03 · Accommodation

Stay where the conference happens

Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport

Staying at the venue gives you the simplest conference commute and keeps you close to informal community conversations. Event-rate booking is coordinated through the organizers and remains subject to room availability.

Ask the organizers about the current room-block dates and any extended-stay availability before making a separate reservation.

04 · Weather and packing

Pack for warm days and cooler evenings

Conference and evening wear

  • Business-casual clothing for the conference
  • A light jacket or sweater for mornings and evenings
  • Comfortable shoes if you plan to explore
  • Modest clothing for religious sites

Air quality awareness

Delhi air quality can be poor in November. Check current local conditions before and during your trip. If you have respiratory sensitivities, consult your clinician and bring the protective equipment or medication you normally use.

05 · Practical details

Money, power, and connectivity

Payments

The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR). Major cards are commonly accepted at hotels and established businesses, but a small amount of cash is useful for minor purchases. Check live exchange rates with your bank.

Internet and mobile data

Conference and hotel Wi-Fi will be available. An international eSIM is usually the simplest setup before arrival. Local SIM availability and activation requirements can change, so check the current airport or carrier process.

Power

India uses 230V / 50Hz power with Type C, D, and M sockets. Bring a universal travel adapter and confirm that your devices support 230V.

Useful apps

Install your preferred ride-hailing app, WhatsApp, and an offline map before travelling. Download your hotel address and important booking documents for offline access.

06 · Health and safety

A few sensible precautions

Food and water

Drink sealed bottled or properly filtered water. When exploring beyond the hotel, choose busy restaurants and freshly cooked food. Select your conference meal preference and record allergies during registration.

Before departure

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Review current health guidance for India and speak with a qualified clinician about your own needs well before departure.

Moving around safely

Use official airport transport, ride-hailing services, or hotel-arranged cars. Keep valuables secure, follow normal large-city precautions, and ask the hotel or organizing team if you are unsure about an area or route.

Dietary requirements

Vegetarian, non-vegetarian, Jain, and vegan conference meals are available. Add allergies and dietary restrictions during registration so the team can coordinate with the venue.

07 · Extend your stay

See more of Delhi and northern India

New Delhi

Consider Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, the Lotus Temple, and a guided visit through Old Delhi. Check opening times and official visitor guidance before setting out.

Agra

The Taj Mahal can be visited from Delhi as a longer day trip or an overnight stay. Book transport and entry tickets through reputable providers.

Jaipur

Jaipur's forts and palaces make it a popular addition to Delhi and Agra. Allow enough time rather than trying to fit all three cities into a rushed schedule.
